Bringing hope to more people who've lost loved ones
In the GriefShare ministry our focus is to bring the hope of healing to the the brokenhearted. We have been equipping more facilitators, to help multiply this ministry to other areas and churches. In this way the impact of healing can be more widespread.
This year God has gone ahead of this ministry and has brought 3 new locations where Griefshare can be planted. An initiative to start a group at Buhrein Retirement Village, came from within the ESCC family. This was in addition to the other 3 groups that were facilitated in 2023. Three months before a new facilitator was added to our team, from the Durbanville community, she came to us and said,”I have always had a heart for the bereaved, I too was once bereaved and received God’s healing over 20 years ago. I want to serve in this area, please will you train me. I know it is time.”
We had 6 attendees in this first group. This is a group of people that are no longer living independently and bringing Griefshare to them enabled them to participate. Below are some of the comments from that group.
Praise be to God for going ahead of this ministry this year.
