The ESCC Klipheuwel Outreach team invited a special visitor to Klipheuwel Primary School. His name is Tippie the Elephant.
He’s a fictional character, a featured in a series of reading books for children, used in schools.

Worship music drifted across the grassy slope where families, friends, and visitors found a spot to settle. As the mist thinned and the sky lightened to soft greys and blues, Chris Mengel shared a heartfelt message—one that stirred hearts and pointed minds to the empty tomb and the hope it holds.

The ESCC Klipheuwel Ministry team wrapped up the term with a joyful celebration, where Davey Roselli shared a impactful Gospel message. The children received armbands as a reminder of Jesus’ love and enjoyed a special meal together.

Then it happened again in the wee hours of the morning, amid all this chaos and drama. I had to evacuate from my home and spend the night in a temporary shelter. It felt like something from a war zone – like something you’d see in a movie.

I was quite overwhelmed and I kept it to
myself for about a week pondering this before I shared it with Grant. He was so excited at this
revelation, he even shared this with the girls.

The family noticed with growing concern, even more dark behaviour. One day when it appeared she was pretending to be feeling ill, her father asked another family member to take her to the doctor.

I just want to thank the Lord that He touched me that Sunday morning. I don’t even know when, but, I know that I walked into the service with this throbbing headache and on the way home I realised that the headache was gone. 

Within minutes, four ambulances were on the scene and everyone was shocked, looking around saying ‘what just happened?’

“Knowing that I’m somehow helping somebody else achieve breakthrough by being a gateway, or a passage, for the Holy Spirit to move in this place is very rewarding.”
