A Combined Celebration for all ages, with lunch afterwards
Tony and Marilyn Fitzgerald – our COTN leaders – will be with us on the weekend of the 13th and 14th April. More about their visit here …
We are having a combined celebration on Sunday morning at 9am. This will include everyone from our Friday night service, our Sunday evening service and our children.
After the celebration, we will be sharing a meal together. This will be a bring-and-share meal where everyone will contribute to the food and we will all share what we have.
Everyone is welcome – from young through to not-so-young. Bring your friends, your family, your cell group members – everyone!
El Shaddai Church – in the hall and on the field.
Sunday 14 April.
Straight after the morning service.
We will provide tables in the hall for the food. We will also provide pudding!!
We will set up a volley ball net on the field. There will be a lot of colour!
Our cell leaders will co-ordinate food in their cell groups with their members. This will all be shared by everyone who comes along. If you aren’t part of a cell, bring enough food to feed you and your family – to put on the table and be shared.
Bring your own cutlery, crockery and soft drinks (El Shaddai is an alcohol-free zone).
If you want to sit on the field outside, bring an umbrella/gazebo.
Wear a bright coloured shirt!
About our theme:
“All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me …” (Matthew 28:18). We have all the authority we need to go and make disciples in Durbanville and beyond. How each of us will do this will look very different on the outside, but we are all the same on the inside (like a box of smarties!). We are all loved by the same God, and we all want to be obedient to Him. This day is about celebrating our “WotALotIGot”!
