Bless a Baby 23rd birthday Par-Tea recap

Bless a Baby’s 23rd birthday Par-Tea, on Saturday 5 October, was a beautiful morning of joy, gratitude, and community. The theme: Rooted in Purpose, Growing in Grace was brought to to life through lush greenery, leafy décor, and thoughtful touches that reflected the heart of the ministry.

“Thank you very much for a wonderful morning, ” said Joan Marcus after the event. “It was really entertaining, supporting and really great for everyone. It was something different and absolutely stunning. I’m sure when everyone sees all the photos and videos they are all going to be running [to get tickets] for next year.”

The morning was a moving reminder of how small acts of kindness, multiplied over time, can create something extraordinary. What began as caring for one mom and one baby at a time has now reached over 42,000 mothers and babies, each one touched by love and compassion.

MC Brad Kirsten guided the celebration with warmth, energy, and humour, while Therene and Melanie from Crown Creation captivated everyone with their performance of Queen of Everything. Their message about using creativity to unlock dreams, truths, and identity in women and young girls resonated deeply.

A highlight of the morning was the Bless a Baby video and message, which touched many hearts and reminded everyone why this ministry continues to make such an impact.

Filled with compassion, generosity, laughter, and hope, the Par-Tea was a beautiful celebration of 23 years of caring for moms and babies — and of the shared belief that every baby deserves to be welcomed into the world with warmth, dignity, and love.
