Enjoy! An All-In Sunday to remember

Our All-In Sunday, last week, was another wonderful celebration. Our theme was ‘Enjoy’ based on Psalm 100. We heard some amazing testimonies of protection and of healing from Rosalia and Estelle, and then Lyn Swart shared an encouraging message about joy being more than a feeling, but being a way of thinking and an attitude, so that joy can be the soundtrack of our lives.

In addition to our usual Sunday worship team, we also had the youth worship group lead praise. We also had a balloon drop, which was a first here at ESCC and everyone from the young to old could be seen enjoying and playing with the balloons, as they worshipped the Lord.

And although there were lights and signs and balloons the real joy carried by our ESCC family was evident. It doesn’t need the frills but it was fun to have them!

Afterwards we enjoyed a picnic outside and there were lawn games for both the adults and children and a waterslide and jumping castle for the kids. It was a tremendous time of enjoying and fellowshipping with each other.
Here a couple of messages we got afterwards:

“We are deeply grateful to the facilities team, staff and volunteers that made this happen. The event set the tone for the season!” and also:

“The balloon drop was epic and I saw oumas and oupas picking up balloons and playing with them. One can’t help it and everyone’s inner child came out. And the picnic and everything outside was great fun. I don’t know if the idea is to top each All-In Sunday but they just seem to be getting better and better!”
