All In Sunday - Light | A Collision Of Colours | Generations
“White light is formed by combining all the frequencies, wavelengths, or colours of the visible light spectrum”.
We recognise that every generation has something unique to offer the other other generations. You could say that each generation represents a different colour on the light spectrum and when the generations collide (in a positive sense) their beauty is collectively displayed as white light, representing God’s pure light.
We are inviting everyone who is connected to us and lives here in Cape Town, to join our morning service, on 9 June, in person! It’s like gathering the extended family together for a kuier and a meal. We get ALL-IN!
We’ll be hearing testimonies of people of all ages who have been discipled by someone from another generation and how that has changed their lives. We’ll also:
- spend time praying over every generation and blessing each another.
- experience how our young learn scripture and the old have wisdom and insight.
As we celebrate all the generations and worship God together, the unique colours of light that each generation represents will blend together and represent God’s pure light.
Afterwards we will enjoy coffee and cupcakes together.
Date: Sunday, 9 June
What to bring: CUPCAKES for each member of your family and a couple extra. We’ll put it on a long table and share these.
The following week is FATHER’S DAY but it falls over a long weekend which is also the start of the school holidays. We don’t want to miss the opportunity to honour our men, so at the All-In Sunday, we’ll celebrate Father’s Day too.
