God Wants to Flood Your Life With Love
On Sunday mornings, a prayer team gathers before the service each week to pray for the service to listen for what the Holy Spirit may want to share. Sometimes this comes through scripture, a picture or a word of knowledge.
A few weeks ago, there was a word of knowledge about a flood. However, the person praying sensed that it was God saying, ” I want to flood you with my love.”
The word was shared in a morning service, and a woman came forward for prayer afterwards
This is what she shared:
“A couple weeks ago I dreamt of torrential rains, which caused severe flooding in what looked like a residential area that we were living in. I distinctly remembered two other El Shaddai Christian School families in my dream. One family from my daughter’s grade, grade 2, and the other family from my son’s grade, grade 6.
In the dream I felt a sense of fear, uncertainty because I was not sure if we were going to make it.. the floods were so intense that we had to climb up walls to escape the water.
The day after the dream, I sent the one mum a voice note sharing my dream with her.
I mentioned that I’m holding onto and having faith that the flooding means: flooding of God’s grace, blessing of protection, peace and love over our families.
The past few weeks/months I have felt the enemy’s attack on my family. Attack on our marriage, finances and my husband’s health in particular. There was definitely a spiritual battle.
But I feel the Holy Spirit is covering us, that all will be ok, we are just called to be obedient.
I get resistance, but God is great, He is navigating the storms for us.
God’s faithfulness is so tangible. My husband had a procedure and the surgeons discovered a second tumor, when they didn’t even go in looking for a tumor. It was found at a very, very, early stage. It was less than 2mm in size and the CT scan came out clear.
The flooding in my dreams was God telling me… ‘you and your family are flooded with grace, protection and love’, we are just called to be obedient.” – Anon.
This testimony of God’s goodness and care is a reminder that when you sense God speaking and you feel the leading to share (even if you have no idea how it relates to those around you) be obedient. Something which may seem simple to the person who prayed can be confirmation and a tremendous encouragement to the person on the receiving end.
