God's timing is perfect and nothing is impossible with Him
Early last year, in 2024 I had an epic quiet time and God gave me scripture saying: This time next year you will have a son….
And I was like what!? Lord!? Then I read of two women that had a similar reaction: Sarah and the Shunamite woman. God gave me those two scriptures together.
Then, He filled my heart with faith for my fortieth year, and I knew it was gonna be a year of fruitfulness, family, fun and firsts!
By this point I’d moved through all the emotions of singledom and had surrendered my life to Him again to do whatever He wanted. Even if that meant being single forever and adopting children🥹🙏🏻….
But He had now given me this word about having a child, and hope filled my heart that was so buoyant nothing could push it down!
Then He reminded me of the words again later in the year. I did the math in my head and thought🤔…Lord!? That would mean I’d have to meet my husband and get pregnant in the next couple of months!?😅
And that’s exactly what happened👏🏻😆✨🙌🏻
Toshi phoned and one night after hour long chats, God’s presence came into my room and I knew this was it.👏🏻🥹
Fast forward to being married to a man that seriously keeps ticking off all the things on that one ‘husband’ list I made looooong ago.
And we are pregnant! Halleluia!😆Yes, I’m in a foreign country, and yes it does seem fast, but I have been praying and waiting for these moments for 15 years🥹🙌🏻🙏🏻 AND GOD SAID…..so we know His timing is perfect.
And we have leaned on that word. It is a miracle!
Another prayer answered:
So we just came back from the government hospital for my first routine checkup. I’ve only had an ultrasound so far at 9 weeks after I took a pregnancy test.
So there he/she was, the size of a grape with a beating heart already.I have never been so happy to see those two purple lines in my life!!
We prayed before we left to have an intelligent, knowledgeable female obstetrician, with no language barriers, that we could maybe have a relationship with and that it would be a blessed checkup.
Well…
As soon as we walked in, this beautiful Indian lady looked at us and started asking non-doctory questions like, “Oh, wow, where are you from? Is this your husband? How did you land up in India? You came here to work for so little money? Why?! “😂😂 😂
Then she offered us chai…😂😂😂It was so blessed and joyful!
Then she looked at my file. Over the last two years I experienced cysts and fibroids. She noticed the ultrasound that showed the two golfball sized fibroids and exclaimed, “This is a miracle! It’s a miracle that you’re pregnant! Wow! You are so blessed. And you’re 40 years old! Wow.”
We continued to chat and testify about how I met my husband and married after meeting 8 years ago, travelling, how important family is and so on.
She shared how she’s 33 and unmarried, and doesn’t like India! I said she’s welcome in Cape Town!
She was just so dumbfounded at how we met, that we came to the Himalayan mountains to work for peanuts, doing what we love.
So she gave me her number and was like, “Please call any time, even if you just want to chat.”
So sweet! Praise God!
Her name is Swinky Jain…😆😆👏🏻I love it!🌈
We’re going to get all the tests and the three month ultrasound tomorrow!!😆😆🥹✨🙌🏻🙏🏻
