Youth Unite: celebrating relationships

On Friday, 29 August a group of youth from churches all over Durbanville and surrounding areas came together at the Youth Unite event, which was hosted at ESCC this term.

Youth Pastor Liam du Toit had this to say about the gathering, “The Youth Unite event was already a success before it even officially began, because of the relationships that were built and strengthened along the way. So much growth took place as different churches in the Body of Christ came together with intentionality. This happened through the team meetings, the planning, and the organising beforehand. In that process, discipleship happened and relationships between pastors grew deeper.

And then came the Youth Unite event itself, which was an incredible success! More than 200 young people gathered to worship, play games, and hear an inspiring testimony, from Dylan Farge. One of the highlights for me was watching the youth connect and enjoy fellowship with teens from other churches.”
